Orthodontic Treatments We Offer
Why Families Choose Bennion Lambourne Orthodontics
Start Your Journey
- Board certified in the specialty: Certification by the American Board of Orthodontics is voluntary and goes well beyond what a license requires. Our doctors hold it.
- Care in both states, close to home: Four offices in Billings, Sheridan, and Gillette mean shorter drives for adjustment visits, which make up most of orthodontic treatment.
- Appointments that fit school and work: We schedule after-school visits so kids miss less class.
- The cost conversation happens up front: We check your insurance benefits and walk through payment options at the consultation, before you commit to anything.
Insurance, Payment Options, and Your First Visit
Cost and logistics usually stop someone from booking, so we cover both at the consultation. We check what your insurance covers, explain what is left, and review payment options before you decide anything.
Your first visit takes about an hour. We take images, examine how your teeth and jaw fit together, and go over what treatment would involve, how long it would take, and what it would cost. You leave with a written plan whether or not you start.
Meet Our Board Certified Orthodontists
Our Doctors
Dr. Lambourne, Dr. Ledingham, and Dr. England are board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a voluntary credential that requires examination beyond dental licensure and specialty training. All of our doctors are specialists in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, which means they focus solely on teeth and jaw alignment.
Dr. Chad Lambourne
Originally from Salt Lake City, Dr. Lambourne moved to Billings in 2009 after four years practicing orthodontics in Boise. He and his wife Jennifer enjoy raising their children, Josh and Avery, in this area, while he also finds pleasure in golf, gym sessions, and cheering on their kids in sports.
Dr. Austin Ledingham
From Provo, Utah, Brigham Young University alum, Dr. Legingham moved to Houston for dental school. With wife Rebecca, and two sons; Atticus and Juniper. Outside work and family time, hobbies include woodworking, 3D printing, insect collecting or astronomy.
Dr. Gregory England
Dr. England, hailing from southeastern Idaho, attended Utah State University, married Shantel, and returned West after schooling in the Midwest. With five kids, he passionately supports their activities while enjoying sports, movies, and cherishing valuable family time together.
Dr. Dustin Hunsaker
Following dental school, I served on active duty in the Navy for five years as a dentist, which was a rewarding experience that took us around the world. Following my military service, my family and I moved to Las Vegas so I could complete my orthodontic residency at UNLV.

Frequently Asked Questions
At what age should my child first see an orthodontist?
Around age 7. By then, the permanent teeth have started coming in, and we can see how the jaw is developing, which is early enough to guide growth if something needs correcting. Most children who come in at 7 do not need treatment yet. They need a baseline and a check every year or two.
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
It depends on what needs correcting. Simple alignment can finish in under a year, while a case involving bite correction or jaw growth often runs longer. We give you a time estimate at your consultation, based on your own images rather than an average.
Should I choose braces or clear aligners?
Both move teeth well, and the right answer depends on your bite and your habits. Clear aligners come out for meals and photos, which most adults prefer, but they only work if you wear them 20 to 22 hours a day. Braces stay on and give us more control over complex movement. We will tell you honestly whether one option will get you the result you want.
Do you take my insurance?
We work with most orthodontic benefit plans, and we will verify your specific coverage before treatment starts, so you know your share up front. Bring your insurance card to your consultation, or send us the details ahead of time and we will have the numbers ready when you arrive.
Which office should I go to?
Whichever is closest. We have two offices in Billings: West End on S. 32nd Street W. and Heights on W. Wicks Lane, plus offices in Sheridan and Gillette, Wyoming. Call the office nearest you or request a consultation and tell us which location works, and we will schedule you there.
